Season 1 · Episode 3 · Mikey Mike — "Doin' Me"
Recorded at Shangri-La, Rick Rubin's Malibu studio. Vocal contracting and on-set coaching for the six-child choir featured in the broadcast scene.
The brief: pull the kids choir into a single broadcast take, with Mikey Mike performing live on the floor. Pre-session prep with each child, then ensemble blocking through the chorus structure.
The take that aired was the third pass.
Behind-the-scenes session stills of the kids choir are withheld pending parental-consent verification. Broadcast footage is permitted under the original Showtime release; session-room photographs require separate consent on file before publication.
